-Senior Year- *Class Of 2011*

My Life From 2nd grade all the way up to Highschool.

I had first started running in the 2nd grade, This class was known as physical Education. What this class did for me was to help me, so I started running alot in pe and I loved it alot, yes running was infact what I have liked doing since than because I found out that the more I ran the more I really started to like it and enjoy it, so I kept on running everyday.  Once I moved up to the 6th grade, otherwise known as Jr.Highschool  I had started taking an aerobic running class and in that class coach keen had started to get us running more everyday and it was just fun, and relaxing to be able to go out and run more because your surrounded by nature and you learn more about the sport and what running realy is.
Now when I ran in Jr.High I was not verry good at all but did that let me down or make me give up, no I didn't give up I stuck with it and yes at the Jr.High cross country meets I was close to last but that did not stop me, it made me want to train harder and improve.  Coach Keen taught us about the differences between aerobic and anaerobic, he explained to usabout how aerobic means with oxygen, and anaerobic means without oxygen another words meaning when your running your adding a little more stress to your body when your running your workouts, but you are still able to talk a little. Through out Jr.Highschool I was increasing my mileage, not too much to hurt myself or overwork, but enough to where my body has adapted to the amount of miles I run.
After graduating Jr.High I was verry excited to be a freshman in highschool, my freshman year was great, because I started running and competing at a highschool level, which was something new to me, It didn'tscare me at all, I started running harder and harder to try to improve and I did but I improved slowly. I did earn my Letterman Jacket my freshman year in highschool for cross country, I am always ontop of my grades in school because I know grades come first before sports. I have qualified for the USTAF Junior Olympic Cross Country Meets for 4 years so far, Ive been to Rhoad Island, Lawrence Kansas,  Virginia, Reno, Hoover Alabama and Washington State. I am a Graduate from the class of 2011.
I  run 5ks, 10ks, and Half Marathons, My long runs now are 14 miles to 16 miles. I would like to give a special thanks to my family, freinds, and my cross country coach. I had a very successful Cross Country Season, the training was tough, but the pain and hard running is what helped me. I qualified for State and came out with a great finishing place of 41st which is not bad. Track has been very well too, I have qualified for Regionals, now I just have to wait and see what happen's at Regionals. I set a new Personal Record this year for the 3M Half Marathon with a finishing time of 1:23:45. I will be attending Southern Arkansas University in the Fall of 2011.
